So Cute!!

It's almost Ofelia's 1st birthday!!! I know, I'm in shock too!!! We've been planning her birthday party, for about a month now. :) I like to make a big deal, of my daughters' birthdays. I want them to know, that they are special. And should be celebrated. For being them.

But Mark and I, agreed, that some birthdays should be bigger than others. Our plan, is to celebrate each birthday. With a nice party. But our daughters' 1st, 5th, 10th, 13th, 15th, and 18th birthdays, should be special!! Extra special!!!

Our theme for Ofelia's 1st birthday, is "Little Cupcake." And we've had so much success, at finding things. Cupcakes are so popular right now. But the idea, behind the cupcakes, are all about Mark!! He calls Ofelia his little cupcake. So cute! And the name is sticking. :)




These little candles are my favorite!! They are just so fun. :) We're used to having parties, in warm weather. Outside. This will be our first, indoor event. But I think it will be fun. You should see our guest room. Stuffed with party stuff!! Have you seen anything, that we just need to have? Anything cupcake themed. We'd love some ideas!! A

Please Pray

I just want to ask any, and all my readers, for a little favor. To keep Mr. S in your prayers. He was hospitalized on Thursday night. Mrs. S and Lola, have been there with him. 24/7. And I just know, that they need, and would appreciate, all your prayers. I don't think, they've figured out what's wrong. But it's serious! He's been in the ICU. Please remember Mr. S, when you're saying your prayers. A

I don't watch a lot of YouTube videos. But there are certain people, that I enjoy. Like Carly. She does some fun makeup videos. And I'm really enjoying this look! Now I need to figure out, where to wear this makeup. Because you know, I'll be trying this look soon! A

Home

It feels good to be home. And to be with our girls. Yes, we all need a vacation from time to time. And some time as just "man and wife." But I still miss being "mommy and daddy" when we're away.

This was a big deal for us. The first time we've left Ofelia since she was born. I knew my in-laws would be amazing. As always! But it was tough. I had to really plan ahead. And do a lot of pumping. So my baby girl would have milk. And I still had to pump and store on the trip. It was pretty hilarious! But we managed. :)

Honestly, I'm so happy to be home. I'm glad that we went on this trip. But there is no place like home. Especially when you have a husband to love you, and 2 little girls to love!

Garden Inspiration

It's still cold around here. But we're already thinking of Spring. And planting. My in-laws always have the most beautiful, and delicious garden. My FIL always sends us home, with fresh veggies. We all anxiously await the fresh peaches and pears. Oh, and the green chili! Just thinking about it, makes me want July to be here!!

For the last few years, Mark and I, have had a garden. Nothing like my FIL's. His is just amazing! I'm telling you, I don't think my in-laws buy veggies all summer long!! But Mark and I have been trying. And we've been relatively good at it.

This year, we have a newborn. And I just don't see myself, on hands and knees, weeding our garden. For 3 hours a day! But we still want to plant various things. After talking with my FIL and my good friend, now I know what we need to do.



Two words!! Garden boxes!! I've been investigating the situation. Mark and his brothers, are going to be building us 4 this weekend. :) This is a nice description/tutorial. I'm hoping, this cuts back on our weeding. But still allows us, yumminess all summer long! A

I'm Gonna Get My Craft On!!!

Last night, I got a little lost. In the world of YouTube!! Isn't that the way it works? YouTube just sorta sucks you up. And you lose hours of your time. I feel like it works like this. Anyway, I was catching up on all my favorite YouTubers. And I was so excited when I came to Jen's page!!



This is such a good tutorial. Honestly, I almost bought a wipe case, some burp clothes, and a little blanket on Etsy. It's still in my "favorites." I'm not going to tell you the seller. Because now that I think about it, $100 for this set....is just nuts!! The blanket is just a receiving blanket. With a little fabric letter sewn on it.

But I'm so excited about this discovery!! I'm not crafty. At all! But even I, can figure out how to glue some fabric, on a wipe case. Especially, since Jen does it all on camera!! Now I need to go buy a glue gun and some fabric. This is so exciting for me! I'm going to be making one of these for our baby girl!! :) A
